Great article! I'm currently taking a course in Web Development and just got my site going as of this past week. Your information was very helpful! So thank you very much:)

One idea I had in terms of promoting a website company/site, is to have your logo on t-shirts, stickers, and hoodies. I'm thinking of doing this in a while, and from time to time I wish to change my banner/logo depending on the season, and if their special holidays!

Thanks Again,

That's where you're wrong. Yes the message board on there does let you share things but I'x implementing a few extra features than what that has.

Wait and see :D. It won't be anything amazing but it will let you do more than just share stuff :p

Thanks for the reply but yes, I have already solved this problem. It was quite a while ago but if I remember correctly I had a function which was messing with the $modules array so once I cleared that up it worked like a charm.

I see this is an older post, so undoubtedly you've solved this one by now, but a couple of tips:
1. print_r() to print the contents of your $modules array, so see what is actually getting loaded into the array.

2. Post source code so that others can pin-point and learn from the problem you are having.

Best regards

Im doing my best to work on this as much as I can - Sokial is quite a big project plus the fact I'm in university as well doesn't give me much time. I'm getting there though.

Although it's quite common to use variables like 'i' and 's' for loops or to store temporary data I very rarely use them, if ever...

For loops if I need to create a new temporary variable I usually name it after whatever it is looping (and add '_loop' to the end of it). But then I always destroy temporary variables once I'm done with them.

<blockquote>variable names with no meaning. Like x1, xx1, xa1, xb2. :) this pisses me off often.</blockquote>
I've had this problem myself.
It's not hard to type something descriptive like 'name' or 'url' and it's easier to remember what a descriptive variable is for if you need to go back to your code in the future.
Variables like 'i' and 's' are acceptable when used properly (as temporary variables for things like for loops) and even then, they are descriptive to some degree (Integer and String data types).

I always use descriptive variable names as it means I have to use less comments as I can make my code more readable.
